Review:
I just saw the Pacific Rim on the first day / time slot Premiar 3D. Yes, I'm a nerd. But that's not the point. If you had to watch anime movies robots vs. monsters of childhood experiences, this is a great movie for you. Kaiju monster design reminds me of the Godzilla monster villain with the Cloverfield monster Xenomorph (Aliens) and Tron. As for Jaeger robots, Ill. you decide if they are good or very good. :) To watch this movie I need to change my mindset to be ten to 10-year-old robot geek kids, who for 29 years. Because if not, you will feel the frustration and question marks over this movie a lot. The story is fairly predictable. The plot and the pace is relatively easy for children to understand. The Nerd and Geek Professor performances are a little annoying me. But hey, it is all about: celebrating childhood memory robots vs. monsters.Overall, the film is good robot vs. monster anime fans. They are not even close to the awful Michael Bay Transformers.
