Katniss volunteers to take her little sisters place in the Hunger Games, a fight to the death on TV Everdeen in which two teens from each of the twelve districts of Panem randomly selected to participate.
The Hunger Games trilogy is undoubtedly one of the best young adult novel series of all time. The movie Hunger Games is one of the worst adaptations book to movie to all potential tempo.O this film was is indescribable. I was ecstatic with anticipation this customization books say I was disappointed is the understatement of the year. It almost seems that the writers just read the book version of Spark Notes and decided to fill in their own blanks. Details changed seems everywhere you look, and its usually for the worse. Despite the fact that the runtime of the film is much more than 2 hours, the characters well developed and important points in the plot are left out in all directions. Even as I sit here writing this review, I and the people who saw the midnight premiere with coming up with more and more of the book to be changed or omitted from the film. While I could sit here and mention an infinite series of false plot points in the film, I will say one thing that annoyed me the most: they do not even show or say anything about the red-haired girl in AVOX BOOKThe further into this review, the more angry I get. It just seems that everything is wrong. The muttations werent thing remotely resembling what has been described as in the book. The final action sequence was unfaithful to the book and? in my opinion? was boring and had no action up. It just happened. In the climax. Without falling action. That's really pretty much like all the movie was. It was straight from the beginning to finish.Personally, I love going to midnight premieres. The crowd is lively and sensational? definitely create an amazing experience. The Hunger Games has been dubbed the new generation of Harry Potter, and if this is true, we have the new generation. If you have had the privilege of watching a Harry Potter premiere at midnight, you will know that there are many times when the audience burst into applause when a major plot point happens. This did not happen with voracious games. Not even once. I'm not disappointed. Im not sure I want to see Catching Fire, if they decide that they were making a film for all three books. It is totally confusing to me as a Harry Potter film will be more faithful to the book of the same amount (or less) of the time, regardless of having 400 + pages. The ending is very surprising. What happened? In the book Katniss and Peeta already growing distant and distrust each other, but in the film it seems that everything is peaches. The writers really screwed up the story to a point where I can only wonder how they will try to make it Catching Fire on the big screen. At the end of the movie, Peeta and Katniss all smiles, then how should they turn to sudden conflicts in the sequence? The Hunger Games trilogy prospective only set yourself up for failure in the future be unable already. So often people who want to hear the book was better. Usually, these people just snobbery, but in this case it's true. Rarely, if ever a film surpasses its literary counterpart, but less Boeri considered a standard for a film to be on par with the book in terms of quality. Thinking about the film now, just 30 minutes later, I am unable to recall a single memorable attribute. This I recommend that you: read the book. Even if you've seen the movie, read the book. Let your imagination to create scenes. Do not allow longer be set as I was. I do not expect to recommend this movie to any of my friends who have read the book. In the hearts and minds of many, The Hunger Games sacred books. This film serves to tarnish the emotional connection you have with the book, simply provide images without emotion.
